What percentage of donations goes directly to recipients?
100% of all donations go directly to women fundraising for Herceptin treatment. We'll be publishing a running tally of donations received. So come on New Zealand, give generously and together, let's create a different tomorrow!
Why should the community get involved?
Any woman among us could be in the position of requiring Herceptin treatment. Those who are seeking funds are loved and adored, and they only have a small window of opportunity to attempt to cure their cancer. Most cannot fund the NZD$100,000+ treatment themselves. Should they miss out on a chance to live because of their financial situation? Should New Zealanders be forced to sell their assets to pay for Herceptin?
If each of us donates a small amount, there is the potential to generate enough funds for ten or more women to pay for their Herceptin treatment and get a chance at beating cancer.
